How it works

How QR-based tracking works

1

Print the QR Code

Generate and print the unique QR code for the part. Attach it to the workpiece, the job sheet, or the rack.

2

Operator Scans

At the start of the operation, the operator scans the QR code with their phone. They select the process and start the timer.

3

Work Is Recorded

The work session (machine, operator, duration) is saved automatically to the cloud. Zero paperwork, zero manual entry errors.

4

You See It Live

While the operator is working, you see the live status on the dashboard: which part, which machine, how much time has elapsed.

Questions about production tracking

You print a unique QR code for each part. The operator scans with their phone at the start of the operation (start session) and at the end (stop). The system automatically records the times, machine, and operator. It works from the browser, no separate app to install.

Yes, the MKWork dashboard shows the live status of all parts and work orders, updated in real time. You can access it from a PC, tablet, or phone, from the office or from home. No VPN or installed software required.

The operator sees: the technical drawing, the G-Code program, work instructions, previous operation history, and the current status of the part. All technical information is available on the smartphone, without searching through folders or asking the production manager.

MKWork visually marks overdue parts on the Kanban board and in the work order list. You receive in-app notifications for overdue parts or those at risk. The on-time delivery report shows historical trends by month.

MKWork requires an internet connection for live synchronization. It is optimized for 4G mobile networks. A minimum 5 Mbps connection is sufficient for 20+ simultaneous users. Offline recording for areas without signal is on the roadmap.
