MKWork Manager is a digital service delivered online. This policy complies with GEO no. 34/2014 on consumer rights in distance contracts, transposing EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

01 Right of withdrawal (14 days)

Under European and Romanian law on distance contracts, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, without having to provide a reason.

Condition for exercising the right of withdrawal: The right of withdrawal applies if You have not accessed or used the paid functionalities after activation. By starting to use the service, you confirm that you agree to immediate delivery and expressly waive your right of withdrawal.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal without having used the service,, contact us at contact@mkwork.ro with the subject Contract withdrawal, mentioning:

  • Organization name and slug (e.g. your-company)
  • Registration date
  • Proforma invoice number

The refund is processed within 14 calendar days from receiving the request, via the same payment method used.

02 Active subscription cancellation

You can cancel your MKWork subscription at any time, without penalties:

  1. Access Settings → Subscription from the admin panel
  2. Select the option Cancel subscription
  3. Confirm the cancellation — you receive a confirmation email

Important: Upon cancellation, access to the paid plan features is maintained until the end of the already paid period.

If you cannot cancel from the admin panel, contact us at contact@mkwork.ro and we will process the cancellation within 1 working day.

03 Refund policy

We evaluate refund requests individually, based on the following criteria:

Withdrawal within 14 days, without use
You purchased a plan but did not use any paid features.
Full refund
Billing error or duplicate payment
You were billed twice for the same period or there is an error in the invoiced amount.

Extended service unavailability
The service was unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours, not caused by planned maintenance.
Credit or proportional refund
Cancellation after use
You used the service during the paid period.

Dissatisfaction with a feature
You are not satisfied with a feature after using the service for more than 14 days.

Account suspended for abuse
Account was suspended or deleted as a result of

04 Downgrade plan

You can switch to a lower plan (downgrade) starting with the next billing period:

  • Access Settings → Subscription and select the desired lower plan
  • The change applies from the expiry date of the current subscription
  • The current plan remains active with all features until the end of the paid period
  • No refund for the price difference between plans

05 Account and data deletion

You can request the complete deletion of your account and all organization data at any time:

  1. Contact us at contact@mkwork.ro with the subject Delete Account
  2. We confirm your identity as the organization administrator
  3. We delete all data within 30 calendar days
  4. You receive email confirmation after the deletion is complete

Warning: Deletion is irreversible. We cannot recover data after confirmation. We recommend exporting all relevant data (reports, Excel exports) before requesting deletion.

Exception — data retention: Fiscal data (invoices, transactions) are retained for 10 years according to Romanian law (Law 82/1991 on accounting).

06 Account suspension

The provider may suspend an account in the following situations:

  • Non-payment more than 15 calendar days past the due date. Data
  • Terms violation Abusive behavior, unauthorized access attempts, spam or illegal content. Immediate suspension, no right of refund.
  • Owner request the organization administrator may request temporary suspension.

07 How to submit a refund or cancellation request

Send an email to contact@mkwork.ro with:

  • Subject: Refund or subscription cancellation request
  • Organization name and slug (e.g. your-company)
  • Registered email address
  • Proforma invoice number
  • Reason for the request

Response time: We acknowledge receipt of your request within 24 working hours and process the request within 5 working days. Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days from approval.
